ABOUT
Sadie Williams is a multidisciplinary artist, creating pattern + colour driven work in fashion, textiles + art, juxtaposing graphic modernity with hand-worked craft. Since graduating with Distinction from the Central Saint Martins MA Fashion Course her graphic + tactile work has capitalised on her strengths in print + textile innovation. Her creative output spans fashion + textiles, art, image making, surface pattern + animation.
She continues to create textile driven art + fashion both for her own brand and for numerous collaborations with brands, social projects and charities, as well as lecturing and workshops at leading museums, galleries and universities.
For several years she created collections shown at London Fashion Week, though conscious of the unsustainable nature of the fashion calendar, she stepped away from creating seasonal collections in 2018 and is increasingly mindful of sustainable practices by turning to more resourceful ways of working through upcycling + repurposing materials.
